Zena Highwoods House

THIS HOME WAS DESIGNED AS TWO SEPARATE STRUCTURES, ONE FOR SLEEPING AND THE OTHER FOR ENTERTAINING. PHYSICALLY DIVIDED BY A TRANSPARENT ENTRY DETAILED WITH A 5’ GLASS PIVOT DOOR WHICH OPENS ONTO A FLOOR-TO-CEILING WINDOW WITH PANORAMIC VIEWS OF OVERLOOK MOUNTAIN. THE ARCHITECTURE IS CONTEXTUAL. FROM THE INTERIOR, THE HOUSE FEELS LIKE A LENS, FRAMING THE WAY THE SITE IS EXPERIENCED.
